Views effectively are filters that return search results of data within an entity, they are present in almost every entity of the system and are very function rich when used correctly. There are two types of views accessible to CRM Users, those that are published to all users across the entire business or business unit, and also private or personal views, that are available to either the logged in user (usually who created them) or to a team.
