Using The Lookup Field in ACT!

The Lookup field in the ACT! Contact List view is a very useful function that is often either under used or in some cases not even found at all by a user. Our simple one sheet reference guide should show you exactly how to locate the Lookup Field and then how to use it moving forward. If the guide is not enough, here are some simple instructions.
In ACT! click on the List View on the top navigation bar. On the top right of the screen select Options and this will activate the Lookup box. Next click on the actual column that you would like to search so that it has a small arrow signifying whether it is sorting ascending or descending. Next, type the value that you are looking for in the Look For field and the list view will automatically direct you to the data. In the sample below we are searching on the Company field for a value of Verge records:
